Ashe
It was with a heavy heart that we had to put our
beloved horse Mikey down. He was diagnosed with cancer in his sinus with
evidence of growth in his brain; though it broke our hearts, we decided
it was the kindest thing to do for him. Not too long after, a
friend had a horse for sale. Rachel knew we were still mourning
our sweet Mikey but she also felt that this horse was a good match for
myself and the family. Any horse that comes into my life must pass
family inspection. Much to my delight and Rachel's prediction,
Ashe joined our family.
Ashe is an eight year old Thoroughbred, grey in colour though he has
mostly whitened out. He stand 16.1 hands high (with shoes) and has
a sweet temperament. He is kind and honest-and we owe Rachel a
great deal for her excellent training and for giving our family a chance
to try Ashe.
