Windsor Hills/ Merritt Island
We stayed in a lovely vacation villa- Windsor Hills- we had two bedrooms, a living room, two full baths as well as a washer and dryer.  We were also welcome to the amenities of the complex which included a beautiful zero entry pool.  On our way from  the port of Miami, we stopped at a favourite place of ours called Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.  Here we saw all kinds of birds, turtles, alligators and a wild manatee- looking more like an aquatic UFO, it was wonderful to even glimpse these magnificent creatures.  We followed that with a trip to Sea World where Ben and Abby got to witness the damage boat propellers can do to the gentle giants.
