Summer of 2010: Florida and the Western
Caribbean
Aquatica
|
Aquatica is a water park
run by Seaworld. It was a lot of fun going down all the slides. We
watched as Abby & Ben went down the slides endlessly until the lines got
long. I admired my kids and their bravery as they fearlessly went down
huge slides and swam in fast currents. We had a great time watching them
carry up inner tubes as tall as they were and bravely tubed down the
slides. I loved tubing on the lazy river through an aquarium (second
photo). We liked the slide that sent you through the Commerson Dolphin
tank. Very cute dolphins that look like tiny orcas (third photo). The
wave pool at the end was a lot of fun for all of us. We'll see how the
water play area at Aquatica compares to a similar one in Atlantis in the
Bahamas... |
