NCL Pearl KEY WEST, FLORIDA, USA Because of a storm that would have prevented us from tendering safely at the private island, NCL decided to divert our ship to Key West. We were not unhappy because we have been to the private island many times but never to Key West. We walked around, did some shopping and I channeled my inner Hemingway. We were going to fish for marlin but decided to relax instead (we'll be marlin fishing shortly). The aquarium was fun and the kids enjoyed the polydactyl cats everywhere- descendents of the original Hemingway cats.
