WYOMING 2009

We went to Wyoming at the end of the summer.  The weather was unbelievably warm- every day reached nearly 80 and the nights were comfortable in the 40-50's.  We flew into Jackson Hole, WY where we stayed for three days and then travelled to Dubois, WY, Gardiner, WY and then Yellowstone National Park where we rented an adorable cabin in the Canyon Village.  We spent one night in Jackson Hole before we caught our flight home to New York.

We went in search of adventure (experience a lot ), fossils (found many), wild mustangs (I fell in love with them) and wildlife (saw plenty). We saw an old friend in Cody and met her beautiful little girl Skye.  We saw our first rodeo, went whitewater rafting, hot springs and geysers.  I got to see my beloved petroglyphs and Bruce & Abby caught brown trout in the middle of a storm on Lake Jackson. Abby lost her first front tooth on the top- and the Tooth Faerie found her in Dubois, WY- can you imagine that?

The wild mustangs were unbelievably beautiful and they will get their very own gallery later on...

Total wildlife count: Bison, Pronghorn Antelope, Moose, Elk, Mule Deer White-tailed deer, Black-tailed Deer, Bighorn Sheep, Mountain Goat, Coyote, Wolf, Prairie Dogs, Marmot, Golden Eagle, Cottontail Rabbit and Hare.
